About Bellemade
Bellemade began with one reader.
My daughter found reading hard. This is the first page of her story, and of Bellemade's. Read it the way she might: on your own, out loud, or one sound at a time.

One reader
My daughter has struggled learning to read, and I thought a digital version with custom stories, and maybe even narration generated from a parent's voice, would help create an interest.
Bellemade's founder
So I set out to make one: stories built around what a child loves, where they're the hero. They can read the story on their own, have it read to them, or use a learning mode that helps with sounds and words. And the stories are kept, so there's always one ready to read again.

It started with three “what ifs”.
Each one grew into part of every Bellemade story, and each one is still there.
