Is the first story really free?
Yes. Every family account gets its first story free, and the story itself is never charged. When you set up your account, a grown-up does a quick card check: a small charge that’s refunded right away. It’s how we confirm a parent said yes.
How much is the membership?
The monthly membership brings brand-new stories every month. Its price: $19.99
Paused or canceled, your family keeps reading its whole library.
Do I have to share my child’s photo?
No. You can build your child’s character by hand: skin tone, hair, glasses and more. If you do use a photo, it becomes an illustrated character you approve, and the original photo is deleted once you approve it.
Can grandparents join the list?
Of course. Anyone can join. Parents share any story with a private link that opens it in Read to me mode, ready for a grandparent at bedtime.
